As you can probably tell if you follow my Instagram, I LOVE eating out and trying new restaurants. I get so inspired to see how other people use different ingredients and I always leave with so many ideas for new creations and full of inspiration!
Living in Bondi, it is the perfect area to indulge this passion because there are so many amazing places to eat! I have broken the list down to cafes for breakfast & lunch and restaurants for dinner. If I have left any out or you have other favourites, please let me know!
This café is so amazing for breakfast and lunch. There is always a bit of a wit to get a table so try get there early. Great view of the beach and the food is to die for. My favourite thing to order: Boss Eggs (truffle & fetta scrambled eggs with sourdough and smoked salmon)
This place does the best breakfast. I always get the veggie breakfast which comes with the most amazing labne and homemade hash browns.
Really cute café that does the most amazing breakfast burrito
These guys have a stand in Bondi Farmers Market every Saturday and they make the most amazing gluten free corn fritters with homemade chutneys & aolis and a whole range of toppings. Delish!
This is a very small but authentic Italian café that does the best coffee and Piandinas – these are like a cross between a pitta and pizza base that is filled with toppings and folded over. I always get the tuna, tomato & mozzarella and it is amazing.
Iam obsessed with Sefa Kitchen! They are a middle eastern café & restaurant and their breakfast, lunch and dinner is just to die for. Really reasonably priced too and they do BYO during the week. My favourite breakfast is the Poached eggs with garlic yogurt and for dinner you have got to try the haloumi with local honey or the Crispy Brussel Sprouts.
Bills is pretty famous in Sydney but they only just recently opened in Bondi. They have a great breakfast menu, but they are famous for their ricotta hotcakes and its not hard to see why!
This opened recently in Bondi and is a great place to pick up a fresh acai bowl with a range of delicious superfood toppings.
These guys do an amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a focus on fresh seasonal food and have homemade sourdoughs, pickle their own veggies and have a good selection of dairy/sugar/gluten free dishes.
I love this place. Nestled on top of the hill in north Bondi, it is really casual but with exceptional fresh food. The menu is mostly fish and salads. They do a big selection from grilled fish, fish and chips to handmade sushi and sashimi. I always go for their sushi rolls which are absolutely amazing and so big!
Bondi Hardware is a great spot for tapas and drinks. They have lovely share plates and is a great casual place to catch up with friends.
This place has been open in Darlinghurst for a while now and recently opened its doors in bondi. They have the most amazing Italian cheeses & hand make all of their pasta. Whats not to love!
North American & Australian style cuisine, this place is great for a laid back dinner and drinks but with really tasty dishes! If you have any recommendations I have missed, I would love to hear about them!
